During this episode of the Grim Drive Podcast, where we explore mental health through the lens of professional sports and athletes, we had the pleasure of interviewing Pro Wrestler Levi Cooper.
Levi is an American Professional Wrestler, best known for his time in the WWE, where he performs under the ring name “Tucker.” He wrestled at the collegiate level including at Arizona State, and earned All-America status from his performance at the 2011 NCAA wrestling championships. More importantly, Levi is also a son, husband, and a father as well. In this episode, we discuss his journey as an athlete at the collegiate and pro level, mental health in sports, and the psychological aspects of injury recovery. We also discuss his Discord server “Holistic Headlock” (link on his Twitter page @REALLevicooper) where they focus on supporting people with tips on mindfulness, goal setting, and more!
Additionally, in recent months, more and more attention has been given to the emerging web3 world, the blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). We connected with Levi in the NFT world, and in this episode we also discuss NFTs a bit, including some projects he is interested in (while advising everyone to do your own research DYOR).
